Movement Electronic Music Festival

The Movement electronic music showcase is a popular event that takes place in Detroit over the Memorial Day weekend. It’s a place where local legends and newbies to the electronic music scene come to play techno music.

You can listen to the music from different outdoor stages at the festival, or you can check out the interactive technology center of musical instruments. If you want to have a more private experience, you can hang out in the VIP area.

The Movement electronic music festival is a three-day event that features more than 100 acts. You won’t want to miss the high-energy and riverfront scenery that more than 100,000 people enjoy every year.

Motor City Pride

Motor City Pride started in June 1972 when the first march happened to protest homophobic laws and to work for rights and equality for LGBT people. After holding the march for a few years, it expanded to include a picnic after the march. The picnic has now turned into the current festival.

This year the Pride will take place in Hart Plaza on Saturday, June 11th, and Sunday, June 12th from 1 to 9 pm on the first date, and from 12:30 to 7:00 pm on Sunday.

There are 12 different food vendors and mobile kitchens at the event, all of which will be selling a wide range of cuisines, including vegetarian dishes and Cajun cuisine. There will also be pizza, burgers, and hot dogs on offer.
