Four Indian Food Festivals Not To Miss

Indian food is one of the most popular cuisines in the world. India is home to a vast array of spices, flavors, and ingredients that make its dishes unique and flavorful. While there are many Indian restaurants across the globe, there’s nothing quite like experiencing an Indian food festival.

Take a look at these four festivals that celebrate Indian cuisine:

Festival of Globe

Bay Area, USA

The largest multi-ethnic, cross-cultural extravaganza in the San Francisco Bay Area is the Festival of Globe (FOGsv).

The week-long festival packages include film, visual, performing, and folk arts from across the world in a fun and vibrant celebration of cultural diversity.

The Festival raises money every year to support different social issues that different communities face. Some examples of causes that the Festival actively supports include youth development, senior care, homelessness, and the empowerment of women.

Their 30th Festival of India – Mela & Parade will be held on August 20 and 21, 2022 at Freemont in 39439 Paseo Padre Pkwy. The three-day Festival of India & Parade is an annual Indian heritage and culture festival for the entire Bay Area with a variety of entertaining activities for partygoers.

Attendees will in addition to numerous other things, be able to see an Indian cultural dance and musical extravaganza as well as a health fair, grand parade, arts & crafts bazaar, a plethora of delicious cuisine options, and more.

Indian Confluence (InCo)

Brussels, Belgium

The Indian Confluence platform seeks to offer a place for the public to see and learn more about India’s rich diversity, culture, and music while encouraging unity.

InCo is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering international understanding and unity by promoting cultural exchange through the celebration of Indian culture, cuisine, and information.

The organization Indian Confluence promotes and introduces Indian festivals to Europe with promotional activities and Indian sporting events. Their Indian Food Festival 2022 will be held at the Parc du Cinquantenaire on August 20 and 21, 2022.

Taste of India Food Festival

Toronto, Canada

The Taste of India Food Festival has been designed with a singular goal in mind. In Canada, street food culture is a relatively recent concept, and it may have a significant impact on the economy, social fabric, and environmental sustainability of the nation.

The Taste of India Food Festival unites people from diverse backgrounds through a shared passion for food.

The annual event will take place from July 31 through August 1, 2022. Classical dances, bhangra music, and musical songs by singers will all be used to set fire to the stage. The festival will provide a genuine illustration of multiculturalism and draw various communities.
