Ingredients

  • Hung yogurt 1 1/2 cups
  • White bread slices 8
  • Medium onion chopped 1
  • Medium tomato chopped 1
  • Corn kernels boiled 1/2 cup
  • Mixed coloured capsicums chopped 3 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Black peppercorns crushed to taste
  • Green chillies chopped 2
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped as required
  • Butter for apply to shallow fry
  • Green chutney as required
  • Cheese spread for drizzling
  • Schezwan sauce for drizzling

Method

  1. Step 1. Take hung yogurt in a bowl. Add onion, tomato, corn kernels, mixed capsicums, salt, black pepper powder, green chillies and coriander leaves and mix well.
  2. Step 2. Apply butter on 4 bread slices. Apply green chutney on them and spread some yogurt mixture.
  3. Step 3. Similarly apply butter and chutney on remaining 4 slices and place them over the yogurt mixture, chutney side facing downwards.
  4. Step 4. Heat some butter in a non-stick pan, place the sandwiches in it and shallow-fry, turning sides, till golden brown on both sides.
  5. Step 5. Cut each sandwich into 2 triangles and place in separate serving plates. Drizzle cheese spread and schezwan chutney on top. Garnish with nylon sev and coriander leaves.
  6. Step 6. Serve immediately with wafers.
